Day 1: Arrive in Rio de Janeiro
Welcome to Rio, “The Marvellous City”. Meet and assist at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro
Visit Corcovado Mountain and the Christ the Redeemer statue in the afternoon during this 4-hour
tour. Ride the cog train up the steep mountainside through the Tijuca Rainforest, disembarking
at the top to panoramic views of Rio. Spend time admiring the iconic statue and snapping photos
of the surrounding scenery. (B)

Day 3: Rio de Janeiro
Explore Rio and visit Sugar Loaf Mountain during this 4-hour morning tour. Visit some of the city’s
most important landmarks, including the Metropolitan Cathedral and Cinelandia Square. Then,
board a glassed-in cable car for to ascent to the peak, stopping once at a scenic viewpoint. (B)

Day 4: Rio de Janeiro Iguazu
Fly to Foz Iguazu in Brazil and enjoy a falls tour of the Brazilian side before crossing the international border to your hotel in Puerto Iguazu. (B)

Day 5: Puerto Iguazu
Morning tour of the Argentine side of the falls for a close-up view. Afternoon free for optional activities. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 6: Puerto Iguazu/Buenos Aires
Fly to cosmopolitan Buenos Aires, meet and assist at the airport and transfer to your hotel. In
the evening, Tango & Dinner show with transfers. (B,D)

Day 7: Buenos Aires/Holland America Cruise
Breakfast at your hotel. City Tour including major tourist attractions. Drop-off at your Holland America Cruise. (B,D)

Day 8: Buenos Aires (Holland America Cruise)
Breakfast. Free day for optional activities. We suggest a day tour to one of the nearby ranches

Reach the remote Falkland Islands, a country with a long and fascinating history, unique culture
and natural beauty. Weather permitting, we visit the capital Port Stanley, which is easily explored on foot. Further afield there are largecolonies of king, gentoo and magellan penguins (shore excursions at own expense).(B,L,D)

Day 13: Strait of Magellan (Holland America Cruise)
The Strait of Magellan is a navigable sea route separating mainland South America to the north
and Tierra del Fuego to the south. The strait is the most important natural passage between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. (B,L,D)

Day 14: Punta Arenas, Cockburn Channel, Beagle Channel & Glacier Alley (Holland America Cruise) (B,L,D)
Punta Arenas grew to prominence due to trade through the Magellan Strait. Today it is the largest
town and the capital of Southern Chile. We make our way into the Cockburn Channel connecting
the Strait of Magellan to the Beagle Channel. Finish the day cruising through Glacier Alley, an extraordinary piece of nature with numerous tongues of glaciers that snake down to the sea. (B,L,D)

Day 15: Ushuaia, Argentina (Holland America Cruise)
The southernmost town in the world, where dominating peaks loom on three sides and the fourth
opens to the Beagle Channel. Ushuaia is a quaint town perfect for exploring on foot. (B,L,D)

Day 16: Scenic Cruising Cape Horn (Holland America Cruise)
Known as a landmark in cruising and navigation, Cape Horn is the most southerly point in the
world. (B,L,D)

Day 17: Sarmiento Channel (Holland America Cruise)
Continue through the iconic and breath-taking scenery of the Chilean Fjords. Be among the
lucky few to spend a glorious day scenic cruising through Tierra del Fuego and the snow-capped
peaks and ethereal blue glaciers of Canal Sarmiento. This majestic waterway is surrounded by
other-worldly beauty, watch as Amalia Glacier comes into view and witness countless seabirds

Day 18: Chilean Fjords (Holland America Cruise)
Sail through the beautiful maze of islets known as the Chilean Fjords. Renowned as being some of
the most spectacular in the world and rivalling those of Norway and Alaska, this region consists
of a 1,000-mile maze of virgin-forested islands, glistening glaciers and beautifully sculpted mountains. (B,L,D)

Day 19: Puerto Montt, Chile (Holland America Cruise)
Puerto Montt is the gateway to the scenic Lakes District and contains a series of pine forests, icy

Day 21: Valparaiso/Santiago (B)
Disembark in the morning at Valparaiso and bid farewell to your crew. Pick up from the ship for a
tour of Valparaiso, continue to Santiago for overnight. (B)

Day 22: Depart Santiago
Breakfast, morning city tour visiting the most important attractions. Same day, evening transfer
to the airport for your flight out. – Contact us for detailed program. (B)

The tour finishes with a brief stop in Santiago de Chile where you will have the option to
