The unique configuration of this Camper & Nicholson motor yacht, which once belonged to none other than Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco, makes for a swift, stable vessel that provides both spaciousness and supreme comfort.

She is the ideal sized vessel, attractive to the adventure traveler, sea-kayaker and natural-history passenger alike. The Grace is outfitted with a stabilizer system making for smooth running in the Galápagos.

The main salon is spacious, equipped with luxurious sofas and chairs, a bar and entertainment center. Passengers gather here for briefings by our guides, to watch films, enjoy a drink at the bar or just relax.

All meals can be served inside or outside (al fresco). She has nine very comfortable and luxurious cabins with plenty of storage. The front sun deck offers a hot tub and plenty of space to sunbathe, read a book, take pictures, or just enjoy the journey to the next island.

THE M/Y GRACE: A BRIEF HISTORY

M/Y Grace’s stellar past includes ownership by millionaire tycoons, royalty and stint in the British Navy. She was commissioned to be built in 1928, during the Great Gatsby era by Camper & Nicholson in Southampton, England.

After serving as the personal yacht for high powered industrialists, including Sir George Tilley, chairman of the Prudential Insurance Co., she was conscripted to serve in the British Royal Navy during WWII. During the war she played an important role at Dunkirk, captured a German torpedo E-boat and even has an unconfirmed sinking of a U-boat to her credit.

In 1951 she was acquired by a company owned by Aristotle Onassis, and was later given as a wedding gift from Aristotle himself to Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco. Rechristened Deo Juvante, it was onboard this vessel where Prince Rainier and princess Grace spent honeymoon getaway.

The ship has begun a new era in her rich history and its best days are yet to come as an icon in the Galapagos Islands.

Her Name
M/Y Grace has journeyed the waters of this world under many names, but we have rechristened her with a name that brings back memories of one of the best times in her history.

Named after her late owner, Her Serene Highness Princess Grace of Monaco, the name is a representation of her elegance, beauty and prestige.

In Galapagos, we hope to re-live her past by making M/Y Grace one of the most elegant, beautiful and prestigious yachts on the Islands.

The service onboard this ship, coupled with the true feeling of a safari experience, will be unlike anything currently offered in the Galapagos Islands
