In our Ecuador and Galapagos Tour, is a great opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful parts of Ecuador such as the colonial city of Quito, the Otavalo Indian Market, the weaving town of Peguche and the Magdalena Karanki Community.


The tour starts with a tour of the largest historical old town of the Americas and the middle of the world. The following morning visit the famous Indian Market of Otavalo, followed by the weaving community of Peguche and the town of Cotacachi, known for the manufacture of leather goods.


Experience an overnight in one of the houses of the Magdalena Community and the following day try at horse-back riding or mountain biking and admire the landscapes with a magical setting when you take the “Liberty Train” ride to Ibarra.


This magical adventure, takes you to the Enchanted Isles of the Galapagos so you can admire prehistoric iguanas, exotic birds, giant tortoises, plants, awesome landscapes of lava and magma cones, volcanoes. The wildlife sighting opportunity is not limited to land; the Galapagos is also rich in marine life. Snorkel and swim any time of the year amongst tropical fish, sea lions, manta rays, swordfish, sea turtles and other marine wildlife.


You will be guided by multi-lingual naturalist guides on shore excursions twice a day to places unlike any other place to observe wildlife that has no fear of man. All these activities will be supported by daily lectures explaining the geology, history and evolution of the islands.

DAY 1: Arrive in Quito
Arrival any day – transfer to the hotel. Overnight.


DAY 2: Quito (B)
Colonial City Tour & Middle of the World: bustling streets and squares of the largest historical old town in the Americas, a multi-ethnic, artistic and cultural heritage destination. Visit the “Middle of the world” situated at 0º0’0” latitude. Overnight.


DAY 3: Quito/Otavalo/Cotocachi/Magdalena Karamnki Community (B,D)
Visit the well-known indigenous market in Otavalo for an arts and crafts shopping adventure. Visit Peguche known for its weavers, visit a wind instruments workshop, Cotacachi known for the manufacture of leather goods. Arrive to Magdalena Community overight at one of the community houses.


DAY 4: Magdalena Karanchi Community/Train Ride/Salinas (B,L)
Magdalena Community discover this hidden mountain niche through a series of activities; horseback riding, mountain biking or hiking. Then drive to Ibarra and catch the “Liberty Train”, landscapes provide a magical setting as you pass through mysterious tunnels, cross bridges spanning canyons and gullies, and admire a unique biodiversity. Then arrive in the Afro-Ecuadorian community of Salinas, well known for its agricultural activities. Back to Quito. Overnight.


DAY 5-8: All Inclusive Galapagos Cruise Aboard Top Quality MY Coral I & II or MV Galapagos Legend (B,L,D)
Domestic flight to Galapagos. All-inclusive 3-night top quality cruise. Only a special few have the chance to travel through this paradise, sailing on a charming ship, with nautical interior decoration of wood and brass, featuring ample outer decks, seaview cabins and suites, jacuzzi, pool, bars and more. See prehistoric iguanas, giant tortoises, exotic birds, plants, beautiful landscapes of volcanoes, lava cones and magma flows. A fine selection of meals will delight you, from buffet breakfast to gourmet dinners, ice cream festivals, and evening barbecues. Back to Quito or Guayaquil. Overnight.
