Day 1: Arrive in Havana
On arrival at Havana International Airport you will be transferred to your accommodation at the Hotel Plaza.

Day 2: Havana
Your first full day in Havana will begin with breakfast at the hotel followed by a morning of sight-seeing. On the tour we will see the beautiful Old Havana, recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. For a real feast of the senses, you should visit the famous restaurants La Bodeguita del Medio or La Floridita, where Hemingway used to sip his Mojitos and Daiquiris. After a visit to the Havana Club Rum Museum, lunch will be served in a traditional local restaurant. You will stay a second night at the Hotel Plaza.

Day 3: Havana – Cienfuegos
After breakfast we will set off in the direction of Cienfuegos, which is often referred to as the ‘Pearl of the South’. On the journey we will stop in Guamá. From here we will take a boat trip through Laguna del Tresoro, the ‘Treasure Lake’. The lake is surrounded by a picturesque landscape with many canals, mangrove forests and palms. You will also be able to visit a village reconstructed in Taíno-Indian style as well as a crocodile farm. You can opt for lunch in a traditional local restaurant.

After this we will explore the city of Cienfuegos, situated on the beautiful Cienfuegos bay. You can admire the neo-classical architecture of the city and visit the Tetro Terry and the Palacio del Valle. We will then head to the Hotel Jagua, where you will be accommodated overnight.

Day 4: Sierra del Escambray & Trinidad
After breakfast we will travel to Sierra de Escambray. At the health resort Topes de Collantes, nature-lovers will be rewarded by the many rare rainforest plants and animals that can be found here.

We offer various trips on foot or on horseback, during which you can discover the stunning landscapes, dotted with waterfalls and picturesque ‘fincas’. Before we go on to Trinidad, you will be served a delicious lunch in a traditional local restaurant. In Trinidad you will stay at the Hotel Las Cuevas (or similar) where you will be also having dinner.

Day 5: Trinidad
Today you can explore Trinidad independently. The city was built in the 18th century and just walking through the streets can feel as if time has stood still. Don’t forget to try the traditional local drink Canchánchara. You will have breakfast and dinner at Hotel Las Cuevas (or similar).

Day 6: Trinidad – Varadero
After breakfast we will travel to Varadero. On the way you will visit the town Sancti Spíritus, the first settlement in the Caribbean. This small town is located between cattle fields and sugar cane plantations and has a fascinating colonial heritage. You will dine at one of the town’s charming restaurants.

After lunch we will go on to Santa Clara. Here you will be able to see the mausoleum, where Che Guevara’s body rests. In the evening we will arrive at the beach paradise of Varadero, where you will check-in into your room in the all-inclusive Hotel Villa Tortuga.

Day 7: Varadero – Havana
You can spend a relaxing morning at the beach of Varadero before departure transfer to Havana.
