Please ensure you understand the following conditions before you book your holiday. Reservations are accepted on the basis that you abide by the following conditions. All tours in this brochure and others that we may create are operated by Travel Projects Pty Ltd. Level 17, 31 Queen Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000. Travel Projects refers only to the tour operating company specified on this page, as does “we”, “us” and “ours”. Bookings are taken on the basis that you accept these conditions.
A non-refundable deposit of $300 per person for land services is required within 7 days of confirmation in order to secure your reservation. Failure to pay the deposit on time may result in your booking to be cancelled. Should you need to re-instate any expired reservation due to a non payment of the deposit, we will charge a $55 amendment fee in addition to immediate payment of standard deposit.
Full payment is required 60 days prior to departure from Australia. If reservation is made is made within 30 days prior to departure, full payment is required at time of booking.
All cancellations must be received in writing. Following fees or percentages will be charged based on the date of receipt in writing, by fax or by email by Travel Projects of notification of cancellation. Cancellations will take effect the day said written notification is received by us. The following fees apply per person, plus any other cancellation fees and conditions imposed by other service operators such as Antarctica, Patagonia and Galapagos cruises: More than 60 days notice – Loss of deposits.
30 to 60 days – 50 % Less than 30 day – No refund.
Above-mentioned cancellation fees will be strictly adhered to and for this reason we strongly recommend you to take out a travel insurance at the time of reservation. Please advise if you want us to send you an application form for insurance.There is no refund of pre-paid packages on special events
Should you wish to amend your reservation, an amendment fee of $75 will be charged per amendment.
Prices shown in this manual have been calculated on tariffs applicable as at 01 March 2012, and are subject to change without notice. If between the date you make your booking and the date of outbound travel from Australia, these air fares and services change; you may be required to pay additional charges. Acceptance of this arrangement is a condition of booking.
Bookings made within 15 days of commencement of travel will incur a late booking administration fee of $ 55 plus courier costs if necessary.
We strongly recommend Travel Insurance, particularly when touring in Latin America as medical costs and repatriation are very high in that area.
Please note that there will be no refund of unused ground content for any reason. If you make any alteration to any portion of the holiday. Such alteration will be entirely at your own expense.
Visae, insurance, excess baggage, meals not mentioned, vaccinations, airport departure taxes, beverages, tips, shipboard gratuities, items of personal nature like: Laundry, telephone calls etc., cost of passport, personal services to hotel rooms.
We have taken considerable care to make sure all information, tours, itineraries, cruises, are correct at time of printing. Circumstances beyond the control of Travel Projects, may necessitate change in tours/itineraries/cruises etc. up to the date of departure and including after departure date.
Travel Projects can not be held responsible for any changes that may occur and reserves the right to adjust, the price of any travel arrangements, at any time due to airfare and tour increase, devaluation, fuel surcharges, exchange rates, number of passengers travelling at the same time.
Before booking, you must check with Travel Projects if there are any alterations to this manual.
The operator reserves the right to deviate the itinerary and substitute hotels should circumstances so dictate.
Limitations and Liability
Travel Projects Pty Ltd. wishes to advise that under the Trade Practices Act and other legislation consumers have a right to compensation if services are not provided with due care and skill or if services are not reasonably fit for a particular purpose made known by the consumer.
This right cannot be excluded. However we advise you that services we render under this Agreement are the booking and packaging of services/tours provided by others such as hotels, transportation companies and tour operators.
Travel Projects, its employees and agents will not be responsible and exclude liability for loss or damage to you outside their control including but not limited to any act or omission, cancellation, delay, diversion, injury, loss or damage occasioned to you or your property by air carriers, accommodation providers or any other providers of services to you.

Whether by railroad. Motor coach, boat or aeroplane and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may be occasioned by reason or defect. Travel Projects Pty Ltd accepts NO RESPONSIBILITY for loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedules or other causes.
